Wander and Wisdom is just a girl that has a passion for sharing her life experiences, adventures, life hacks, lifestyle tips and tricks, and creating a sense of community through the empowerment of women, and men, amongst the cyberverse.

Hi, I’m Sheila and I’m so excited to start this journey with all of you that are joining me! I have talked and dreamed about doing this for a while (over two years now) and I’m finally just going to “do it scared” and go for it.
I am not at all a professional blogger or social media expert or even a great writer in general, but I am passionate about people; sharing and encouraging others to live their best life as I strive to do the same! I previously came across something on Instagram that asked one to describe “who are you” without saying your name, job, things you do, or friends. I’m still trying to put words to the answer to that question. In the meantime, I’ll unpack the complexities of my personality over time, along this journey, so be sure to follow the Wander and Wisdom page on Instagram and let’s journey through life arm-in-arm and figure out who we are, together, what do you say? I say YES, let’s do it!
I feel that I should at least attempt to answer who I am, with my name, job, things I do, and friends as a courtesy at least. Well, I told you my name earlier, and my current job as a entrepreneur is a journey I’m super excited about and I’ll talk about that more, later. I had a career in the parks and recreation industry as a sports director for a few municipal recreation departments over the last 9 years. I recently ended my career in recreation, to pursue a graduate degree in counseling. I have experienced a lot of life in a short amount of time on this earth, but I’m not certain which life events are appropriate for a brief introduction in a post such as this. The friends that I consider true friends, are fewer in number than I had hoped it to be at this stage of life, however, I am extraordinarily grateful for those that I do hold near and dear to my heart. I’ve learned in recent years, to cherish those relationships instead of taking them for granted.
Now, I hope that you’ve found this space with an open heart, a graceful mindset, and a soul on fire for whatever it is that makes YOU the badass boss lady (or gentleman) that you are! Let’s have some fun!
